Max!

Heard this today...

Actually, I've heard it before, but just heard it again today.

"Grace is not a license to sin. Grace is the power of God to overcome sin and live right!" -Lawson Perdue

I love it!

I'm tempted...

to say how long it's been since I posted, but that's so over-done...by me!!!

Seriously though, I do have two other blogs. Secret blogs, that I won't link to here. Mwah-ha-ha-ha!!! Sounds secretive and all cool and stuff, right? Whatever...I have neglected those two also.

Anyway, I am excited to announce that my favorite step-son will be playing football when it starts up again! He has decided to move to off-season training at semester. I'm so very excited for him. He is so good at it!

It really has been a long time since I've posted...

Melissa won the state championship football title a couple of weeks ago. They played the final game at Cowboy's Stadium. And it was awesome!!! And all my pictures are on the other computer!!! Isn't that awesome, too?!!! Oh, well, if I think of it later, I'll do another picture post. I need to anyway.

Actually, I really do need to do a picture post because we got a new dog! Max is awesome! He's a Schnauzer and adorable. I am not normally a dog person, but this is a special, precious, almost perfect dog. I'm convinced he'd make a dog person out of just about anybody. I'm definitely in love.

I should also post a couple of pictures from Christmas. Maybe. Ok, I should. Maybe I'll get around to it all later on. Right now, I'm being summoned to play the Wii with a 5 year old...oh yeah, maybe I should post pictures of his Birthday cake?

Homecoming!

I totally never posted Homecoming pictures! Come to think of it, I totally haven't posted anything in a long time. On any of my blogs. Usually I'll make it to one of them about once a week, anyway. Oh, well, time marches on. I'm also behind on my Bible reading for school, but I'll get caught up soon. That's not a hard one. I can't go back and replace blog posts that are missing on their correct dates...at least I don't think I can. I did see somebody put a post up and call it a place-holder once so they could save the date. Maybe I should do that. Except I forget and then I'm right back where I started. See how my brain runs in circles? :-)

Homecoming. That's what I was talking about...

Carol brought Katie, Connie, Michelle and Rosey down for the weekend. Carol had to go back on Saturday, and took Katie and Michelle with her and Rosey and Connie stayed so Connie could go to the dance with Jacob Saturday night. I had the pleasure of keeping the two girls until Monday morning. So much fun!!!

Before I forget, we all went to Joshua's soccer game on Saturday. He is so very cute playing soccer!!! It was fun.

Soccer and other stuff

Joshua's soccer is in full swing. He LOVES it! He hasn't quite gotten the hang of the fact that it's important for him to get goals and not just run around in circles and hop a little bit. He'll get there, though.

David's mom and dad come today for the weekend and I've got alot to do this morning. So I'm blogging. Makes sense, right? It'll all come together. :-)

Football is also still going strong. I know it's hard to be a teenager. There's so much growing up that has to be done, and so many things to deal with in their own bodies. They are working so hard and learning so much in school and at home. It's pretty-much mind boggling.

Lots of stuff has been going on at school, but that's for that blog.

Football!!!

I'm so very excited for my Jacob. He's an amazing young man! He started out on JV this year after not playing at all last year because of a back injury. He's now been moved to Varsity and is really doing well. These pictures are from his last JV game against Van Alstyne. I don't know who took the pictures to give them credit - somebody on the Van Alstyne side took them and posted them on Facebook. Jacob found them.

I've posted a little bit other places, but not much...

I figured I'd update here, though.

We went to the Stronger Family Seminar in Atoka, Oklahoma last night and today. It was really quite good. We stayed in the Best Western there in Atoka, and it was really very nice. They have recently redone their rooms and they've done a decent job. I mean, I didn't see it before, but it looks great now. It was clean and the staff was excellent.

The seminar was really very good. I was very glad we went. It was a good time with the kids and a good time in the Lord. It's fun to visit other Victory locations.

Well, I thought I'd put more here, but I'm ready to crash.
