I hate eggs...

But I love this recipe I found on a FFP messageboard the other day.

I didn't take a picture because it doesn't look very pretty.

Whisk two eggs in a bowl. Add 3 Tablespoons of ground flax seeds, 2 Tablespoons of water and 4 packets of Splenda. Mix that up really well and then add about 1/2 cup of fresh blueberries.

The recipe said to make it like a pancake, but I made it like scrambled eggs. I sprayed a bit of olive oil Pam on the pan first to keep it from sticking.

It is sooo yummy with some cinnamon on top!

Hi Katie!

I just saw your comment on my "shoes size blog" and thought I'd pop over here to check your blog out!!!

That egg dish sounds interesting. Does it taste more like a pancake-y dish, or like eggs? I'm so used to eggs being savory.

Also, regarding long shoes, I've found that ShoeBuy.com and zappos.com are good places to look. Nordstroms sometimes carries larger sizes, but I'm not sure what they have for mens.
I just did a Google search and checked out their shopping results. Some nice Converse All Stars popped up via Eastbay.com for less than $50 (http://preview.tinyurl.com/4c6huy2) . I think any teenager would look good in those! Google shopping has been a useful tool for me, but its results go from absolutely perfect to absolutely wacko!!!

Hope that helps, and let your son know he's not alone!!! :)

Thanks for the shoe tips! I'll definitely check out Converse for him. Well, I'll have him do it. :)

It doesn't taste alot like eggs, which is probably why I really like it. I think the strongest flavor is blueberry and cinnamon. The eggs don't really taste like pancakes, but do taste more bread-like. I think warm blueberries make just about anything really good.

It's nice to "meet" you!

Katie- you should try Stevia Plus instead of Splenda! It's all natural- non of the bloat-causing chemicals that are in the faky stuff :)

Oh, I meant Stevia. I don't use Splenda. Thanks for stopping by!
